A young couple is exposed to Martin, a potential madman, who believes that humans are being harvested by parasites inhabiting human hosts. These large organisms, hungry and unrelenting, have a strong desire for human blood. Can they trust him? Can they afford not to?
Unless Martin can convince the others of the truth, time will run out, as the subhuman threat will signal the extinction of one species, and the rule of another. Either way, the countdown to extinction for one side has begun...
